Hi, I’m Tomas! Soap making has been my hobby for over ten years. I never had to worry about birthday gifts. While I explored different methods of soapmaking, my favorite method is cold process. It allows the greatest amount of control over the finished product. Taking basic (and literally alkaline, lol) ingredients and mixing them in different ratios to get different kinds of soap felt like alchemy. Adding botanical elements just took it to the next level and inspired the name, Botanical Batch. Working in concecptual batches feeds experimentation today.

MY SoapMaking METHOD

Lye

An alkaline solution is mixed to give the soap gentle cleansing power
Oil

Next, a custom blend of oils are selected to nourish the skin
Soap

Combine the two at the right temperature and they will Saponify, producing soap!
